I found this question on another bulletin board and thought that it would be a great discussion for this forum as well:

Quote:
What are you allowed to do when you are dating and getting to know someone. Are you allowed to kiss, hold hands. What are good dating ideas. I haven't dated since I became a Christian and I want to make sure I stay on the right track.

Any takers?

Allowed to do?

As much as possible, go out on double dates and avoid being alone, I would say.

Clean fun is good. Friendly barbeques in good weather. Parks. Zoo. Museums. Dinner, of course. Clean movies. Videos. Socializing with friends.

I would say just avoid sin. Avoid alone time which can be tempting. Dating should be a fun time in a Christian's life.

I am struggling with that myself, Where's the line you stop at. I'm pretty new at this. It's been about a year I've been walking with Jesus. I think it's important to have one on one time when getting to know some on a deeper level. And let's say things may started happening after you've been in a relationship or even dating for a while but not married. Where do you stop?at kissing i hate to be somewhat vulgar, but you know is you know anything below the belt okay? I am so clueless thank you for bringing that up.
