What are some safe, yet different ways to meet your mate?
What are ways in which you wouldn't want to meet your mate?
This should be fun! I am smiling now because the Spirit told me"
My ways are not His ways....... and He has proven this to me over and over.

I am smiling now because the Spirit told me" My ways are not His ways....... and He has proven this to me over and over. This looks interesting. Ways I would NOT want to meet a mate? Is there a wrong way to meet a mate? I doubt it. One of my girlfriends met her husband in a nightclub and they have been happily married now for 10 years with a beautiful 4 year old son. And NO, I'm not advocating women hang out in clubs. I have another friend who met her fiancee online on a dating service. Safe way to meet a mate? Any way is safe as long as he is not holding a weapon on you!

Safe, different ways to meet mates:
Online these days! In chat rooms, discussion boards, dating services.
How I would not want to meet a mate? Under stress, or probably on a blind date because no blind date has ever worked out for me.

I asked about safe and unsafe ways because many people feel that dating services, chat rooms, instant messages etc. are "unsafe". Actually, I have been told several times that it may not be "of God" to meet someone this way. So I was curious to know what my fellow brothers and sisters thought.

Who can determine whether or not it is "of God" to meet someone online? I bet people who say that are religious fanatics and not married.
I know of quite a few people who met online. What's the diference between that and meeting in traffic or while walking down the street?

What's the diference between that and meeting in traffic or while walking down the street? For me, there is no difference. You can meet crazies on the internet as well as at the traffic light!
